چکیده

This paper is concerned with control of nonholonomic systems. As is well known, symmetric affine system is unable to control with continuous time-invariant state feedback. In this paper we apply PI Control to a setpoint servo problem for the symmetric affine system. PI control possesses two adjustable parameters KP , KI , and in addition the so-called manual reset quantity m0. It is remarked that adjusting m0 is equivalent to adjusting an initial condition z0 of integrator ż = e. By the PI control with the manual reset m0 appropriately chosen, not only controllable part of symmetric affine system is asymptotically stabilized but also uncontrollable part can be made to converge to the desired value. Applying the PI control with m0, we can control the symmetric affine system without transforming into the ”chained form”. The effectiveness of the method was confirmed by the simulation results for various plants.

Tracking control design for a class of affine mimo takagi-sugeno models

When controlling Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems, verification of some sector conditions is usually assumed. However, setpoint changes may alter the sector bounds. Alternatively, setpoint changes may be considered as an offset addition in many cases, and hence affine Takagi-Sugeno models may be better suited to this problem. This work discusses a nonconstant change of variable in order to carry out...

Suppression of Load Oscillations in Precision Servomechanisms Sensing Only Motor Position

An analysis of the two-mass model of a servomechanism is first presented in this paper. The analysis stands as a basis for the design of a P/PI controller where suppression of load oscillations, rather than fast setpoint tracking of the motor position is pursued. Further improvements of the load behavior can be achieved by a notch filter placed outside the velocity loop. Simulation results are ...

Switching strategy based on homotopy continuation for non-regular affine systems with application in induction motor control

In the article the problem of output setpoint tracking for affine non-linear system is considered. Presented approach combines state feedback linearization and homotopy numerical continuation in subspaces of phase space where feedback linearization fails. The method of numerical parameter continuation for solving systems of nonlinear equations is generalized to control affine non-linear dynamic...

Periodic Adaptive Compensation of State-dependent Disturbance in a Digital Servo Motor System

This paper presents an adaptive controller for the compensation of state-dependent disturbance with unknown amplitude in a digital servo motor system. The state-dependent disturbance is caused by friction and eccentricity between the wheel axis and the motor driver of a mobile robot servo system. The proposed control scheme guarantees an asymptotical stability for both the velocity and position...

Sensitivity Analysis of Low Cost Fuzzy Controlled Servo Systems

The paper performs the sensitivity analysis with respect to the parametric variations of the controlled plant in the case of low cost fuzzy control systems dedicated to servo systems, with focus on solving the tracking control problem for a class of wheeled mobile robots with two degrees of freedom used in mining technologies. A new development method for Takagi-Sugeno PI-fuzzy controllers is p...
